Guitar Hero 4-6?
As much as I love Guitar Hero, the rumors that there will be three (you read it, three) more full Guitar Hero titles released in 2008 is a bit overwhelming. How many new wireless guitars do I need anyway?I think that Activison has the right coancept, but do we REALLY need four brand new games in a twelve month period?

The addiction that is the Wii is now spreading to the highest levels of royalty. The lastest victim? Her Royal Highness, the Queen! After Prince William got one for Christmas, he can't seem to get it back from his grandmother.

Normally for us game geeks, we don't have much time for relationships. But it looks like a few of our comrades have braved away from their consoles long enough to find some long term companionship.So what happens after they say "I do" (or level up)? Why, a gaming themed reception, of course!
Smack talk on the Wii now?
NOA President Reggie Fils-Aime said this morning during a conference call that while they have no interest in adding online multiplayer to Virtual Console titles, voice chat could be coming to the Wii all the same.
Rumortoid-San: Wii emits a frequency that attracts cockroaches?
So far this is just a theory, but it's something that's beginning to come under investigation. Apparently, Japanese entertainment magazine BARKS has alleged that a powered-on Wii emits a sound frequency which falls right into the range to which cockroaches are attracted.

If you need to know what to get the ultimate gamer who already has everything, I have the answer. It seems an avid and knowledgable gamer is selling off a 30 year collection of games and systems. Why? Who knows? Who cares?
Battle of the Consoles...the continuing saga!
Now, first off, we have to agree that all things being equal, everyone has their own opinion on which console is the best. Myself, I think they all have admirable attributes and there is no clear winner. However, when it comes to sales...
E for All! Err..some! Or perhaps a few???
OK, so according to the official website, E for All was a huge success. While the attendance numbers were rather small, (18,000 over the four day period) the ticket prices probably had alot to do with that. Couple in the fact that you couldn't just do one day and you probably end up with a little customer dissatisfaction.
Nintendo's New Wii Zapper Targets Fun
Nintendo announced today that the Wii Zapper interface for the hit Wii home video game system will come packed with Link's Crossbow Training. The software is based on the hugely popular Legend of Zelda series and provides a perfect demonstration of the way the Wii Zapper could be used in other games. The Wii Zapper casing houses both the motion-sensitive Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers in a single unit for precision targeting. It goes on sale Nov. 19 at an MSRP of just $19.99.
